A safe alternative to Halloween held at Cornerstone on October 31st. This is an event for the entire family, filled with games, refreshments, moon bounces, candy and much more!
A Touch of Christmas
Free coats, toys, and food are given to those in need in our community. Held at Cornerstone two weeks before Christmas.
Vacation Bible School
The last week of June, we reach the children in our community with a week’s worth of crafts, games, songs, and Bible lessons.
Community Outreach Teams
Doulos Young Adults
This team of young adults ages 18-35 serves once a month either in the community or at ministry events at church.
Provides groceries to families in need and offers prayer on Tuesdays starting from 5:00-6:00pm while supplies last. You can donate food, or assist in preparing and handing out food, as well as praying with people.
Training in the areas of spiritual discipline and self-defense on Tuesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 9am.

Mothers of Preschoolers
Outreach to mothers at 7:00-9:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month during the school year. Fun and fellowship, as well as mentoring for young mothers. There is no childcare available. Outreach to shut-ins through special visits and services at the Crofton Convalescent Center. Assist with a service on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1:30-3:30pm. This includes musicians and singers. Or pray and visit with residents on Wednesdays at 1:30pm, or a few times each month at your convenience.
Special events throughout the year, and giving in a variety of ways, such as Harvest Festival and Touch of Christmas.
At Patuxent Institute for Women (PIW), we presently serve on the first and fifth Mondays. At the other prison, Maryland Correctional Institute for Women (MCIW), we serve with a weekly Bible study and periodic Sunday church services.
Men’s softball on Tuesdays beginning in April.
Men’s basketball on Thursday nights at 7pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Volleyball for all on Tuesday nights at 7pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.
